Silly rhymes
These are non-traditional rhymes and verses that many of us remember from school, but no one knows where they came from.

Its sooty foot he put.

“Can I have a brother.”
“Yes” said mom to baby tern,
“One good tern deserves another.”

Where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
For what can an antelope say?

Now, at the coroner’s request,
They called it sewer-side.
